Official Rules for the CF Vests Worldwide Costa Rica Paradise with Purpose Vacation Raffle

1. Sponsor

This raffle is sponsored and conducted by CF Vests Worldwide, a nonprofit organization based in the United States, in accordance with applicable laws of the state of Texas.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of age at any time. Entries from individuals under 18 years of age will be deemed invalid and disqualified.

Employees, board members, and their immediate family members living in their household may be excluded from participation.

3. Entry Details

Each entry requires a $100 contribution. A maximum of 250 entries will be sold. Each entry constitutes one chance to win.

All entries must be received by the closing date to be eligible.

4. Prize Description

The prize consists of:

•            Two (2) round-trip airfare tickets from an approved U.S. departure airport (as listed in the raffle materials)

•            A seven (6) night stay at the all-inclusive Hotel RIU Guanacaste, Costa Rica

•            Stay dates: February 12–18, 2027

•            Prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may not be substituted except at the Sponsor’s discretion.

 

5. Travel Conditions

Travel is subject to availability and standard booking restrictions.

Winner and guest are responsible for:

·       Transportation to and from the designated departure airport

·       Valid passports, visas, and travel documentation

·       Any additional costs not explicitly included in the prize and standard all-inclusive Hotel RIU Guanacaste package, including upgrades, insurance, or incidental expenses. The person who will be checking into the hotel must have a credit card issued in their name to present at the time of check in for incidentals. 

Departure will be arranged from an approved U.S. airport as designated by the Sponsor and may be subject to availability. 

Approved Departure Airports (U.S.): Travel will depart from one of the following major U.S. international airports:

 

•            Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)

•            Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

•            Miami International Airport (MIA)

•            Orlando International Airport (MCO)

•            Atlanta Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport (ATL)

•            Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)

•            Denver International Airport (DEN)

•            Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

•            San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

•            New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

•            Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

•            Portland International Airport (PDX)

 

Participant is responsible for any transportation to and from the designated USA departure airport including ground transportation and any associated travel costs. Sponsor may consider alternate airports at Sponsor’s discretion.

6. Drawing

The winner will be selected at random on August 15th, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received with a maximum entry limit of 250 total tickets sold. 

7. Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk

By accepting the prize, the winner and guest acknowledge and agree that participation in travel is voluntary and involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, delays, cancellations, or unforeseen travel disruptions. Third-party service providers, including airlines and hotels, are solely responsible for their services.

The winner assumes all risk associated with travel and agrees that the Sponsor is not responsible for any loss, injury, illness, accident, or other damages that may occur during travel or participation in any related activities.

8. Cancellation or Changes

The Sponsor is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by airlines, hotels, weather, health emergencies, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, the Sponsor reserves the right to modify or reschedule travel arrangements if possible, but no cash alternative will be provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CF Vests Worldwide, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the raffle or acceptance and use of the prize. 

10. Disqualification

Entries that do not meet eligibility requirements, including age restrictions, will be void. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides false or misleading information.
