Facebook Memory – October 17, 2023 CF Vests Worldwide donated a Hill Rom Cystic Fibrosis vest to Vanna in South Africa, the third vest CFVWW has sent to that country.

At the time of Vanna’s birth there were little things that popped up that got me worried as a second time around Mom. For instance, for the three days after she was born, while we were together in hospital, she brought up a great deal of mucus constantly. However, the excessive mucus was a small sign of things to come.

CF is generally not well understood in the broader medical community in South Africa, as well as the general public. Vests are also not available in our country."
