CF Vests Worldwide Thanks Katie Reisinger!!

From Katie: Today I was fortunate to drop my vest off at a FedEx where CF Vests Worldwide will ship it to a CF patient across the world who is in need.

This is the first vest I ever owned. When my Uncle John passed away, he left me his newer model vest which became my primary one. I've always held onto this one as my backup - for years my health was so precarious that one missed treatment could lead to trouble, so I always wanted that extra layer of security. Luckily, my surgery and Trikafta have given me a little extra breathing room (heh) so I don't need to be quite as careful. (I still use my current vest daily and will be keeping it.) I've spent thousands of hours tethered to these machines, and while that is a burden, it's also an immense privilege. There are lots of people with CF in the world who don't have access to the care that we do. I'm grateful that CF Vests Worldwide is doing a drive specifically for #ukraine and Eastern Europe right now. I'll share with you where my vest ends up! I hope she has a great journey and brings her new owner clear airways, peace and good health.
